This is the perfect class for beginners to learn with hands-on guidance.  We will be using soft, large gauge yarn to make it even more cozier and easier.  At the end of the class, you will learn how to do every step to complete your project. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDuring the workshop, you’ll Learn:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e- How to cast on (or begin your project)\u003cbr\u003e- How to do a simple knit stitch\u003cbr\u003e- How to finish your project and weave in ends\u003cbr\u003e- Optional:  learn how to purl stitch\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ll also discuss how to read a pattern, basic garment care, different types of knitting needles and their uses, different types of yarn and how to pick yarn for a project, how to make different sizes of scarves, and how to fix mistakes.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor the advanced beginner or the adventurous, we will also teach how to create a 'Keyhole' in your scarf to tuck in the other end!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMaterials included are chunky yarn and knitting needles. If you are supplying your own materials, we recommend chunky yarn (yarn with recommended knitting needles of size at least 6mm).  We use chunky yarn and knitting needles of 10mm.
