Chunky Knit Yarn

This jumbo chenille yarn is soft, fluffy and cozy, which makes it perfect for projects like blankets and pillows.  This is also the same yarn that we use and love in all of our Chunky Knit workshops at Studio by Garden Streets.  

Looking to tackle your next project and not sure how much to use?  Here is a handy guide:
- Chunky Knit Blanket:  at least 4 skeins
- Chunky Knit Round Pillow:  1 Skein per pillow (don't forget to get pillow stuffing!)
- Chunky Knit Square Pillow:  2 Skeins  per pillow (don't forget to get pillow stuffing!)
- Chunky Knit Stocking:  2 Skeins per stocking
- Chunky Knit Pumpkin:  1 Skein per Pumpkin with another Skein in a different color for the stem.  You won't use an entire Skein for the stem, but the contrast is important to achieve the look.  You can reuse the remaining yarn in another project! (don't forget the stuffing!)

How do I book for a workshop?

The best way to book for a workshop is through our website.  You can look at the schedule in calendar view or look at the list of workshop and see what's available for it.   We close sign up 24 hours prior to the workshop, so be sure to book ahead!

Can I bring a guest to a workshop?

If you have a last minute addition to your group, please call the store to see if there is enough seating or materials available.  If so, you can pay for their ticket upon arrival at the store.  Last minute accommodations are up to the discretion of the store staff and host.  We recommend booking your tickets at least 24 hour in advance.

All workshop attendees need to have their own ticket.  However, an adult caretaker can accompany a minor younger than 18 years old free of charge (one adult per minor please).  Check your workshop details for minimum age requirements to ensure that the workshop is appropriate for the minor.  

Can I take my project home?

In most workshops, you will complete the project and be able to take it home.  Some projects require curing or drying time and may need to stay at the store until ready.  Please check your workshop description for details.

What should I do if I need to reschedule my workshop?

We can refund or reschedule your workshop as long as you let us know at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.  Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.

What should I do if I'm running late for my workshop?

We understand that traffic and emergencies happen and hope that you can make it to your workshop on time.  If you arrive late, we will do our best to catch you up on the content and steps covered for the workshop, but we cannot guarantee that your host is able to stay beyond the regularly scheduled workshop duration.  If you cannot make it to your workshop, you can transfer your ticket to another person and they can attend in your place.  Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or reschedules for no shows.  Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.

Can I bring my dog?

We regularly have doggy visitors and well-behaved pups that get along with other humans and dogs are welcome!  Some workshops can be messy and things may fall on the floor.  Other workshops may use materials that are sticky or otherwise hazardous.  We are not responsible if your dog ingests something they shouldn't.
