VIP Learning Pass
The VIP Learning Pass is a great way to save if you are looking to learn any of the fiber arts crafts that requires practice to master, such as sewing, crocheting and knitting. To master these crafts, you will need to gain practice and technique by making different projects, aka going to multiple workshops. The Learning Pass is a monthly subscription that gives you FREE access to:
-
As many fiber arts workshops as you would like to attend in a month. If you are specifically interested in only one craft, we have reduced rates that gives you access to that craft's workshops only. You can attend workshops in ANY of our locations! See below for what's available in each craft type. We frequently add and update the list with fun projects!
- Sewing Workshops
- Crochet Workshops
- Knitting Workshops
-
A complimentary private lessons / month to troubleshoot specific issues or tackle a personal project. Single Craft Level get a 30min private lesson / month (equivalent of $50 value). All Access Level get a 1hr private lesson / month (equivalent of $100 value). Private lessons are on a per "size" basis, meaning that if you signed up for an Individual VIP Learning Pass, then the private lesson is just for you. If you signed up for a Family VIP Learning Pass, then the private lesson is for your family as a group (not each individual of the family).
- 10% discount on all purchases in store
Materials: All fiber arts workshops offer the option to bring your own materials, so the material costs are not included in the VIP Learning Pass. You can either bring your own or choose the "include materials" option during check out. For sewing workshops, materials are best purchased on-site if you don't plan to bring your own. You can also rent sewing machines if you don't want to bring your own.
Subscription Duration: All subscriptions start from the day of sign up, not at the start of the month. There is no pro-rated or partial refunds for the monthly subscription so please do plan ahead. You can subscribe and cancel any time! Subscriptions accrue loyalty points as well!
Going on vacation? No problem, simply skip the month when you're away and resume when you return
Membership Levels and Types:

If you change your mind on which craft you want to do, we can swap you at the beginning of each subscription month.
All Access - This gives you access to all sewing, knitting and crochet workshops. Go to any and learn them all! Or try them all first to see what you like best, and then drop down to the Single Craft membership to focus.
Single membership is for an individual adult (18 or over).
Family/Group membership is for a group up to 3 individuals. One group member must be an adult and must accompany minors under 13yrs old.
For example, if you are a family of 3 wanting to learn knitting together, choose "Single Craft" for Level and "Family" for Size.
Faqs
How do I book for a workshop?
The best way to book for a workshop is through our website. We close sign up 48 hours prior to the workshop, or when it sells out, whichever comes first, so be sure to book ahead!
Can I bring my child to a workshop?
Yes, please make sure that your child is at least as old as the minimum age requirement for the workshop and that they are accompanied by an adult. Each adult can bring up to two minors to a workshop. Each child should have their own ticket and no more than 1 adult caretaker. Additional adults in your party should have their own ticket.
The workshop sign up is closed on-line, can I still sign up?
Please call the store to see if there is enough seating or materials available. Last minute accommodations are up to the discretion of the store staff and host. We recommend booking your tickets at least 48 hour in advance.
Can I bring a guest to the workshop and they'll just sit with me and watch?
All workshop attendees need to have their own ticket. However, an adult caretaker can accompany a minor younger than 18 years old free of charge (one adult per minor please). Check your workshop details for minimum age requirements to ensure that the workshop is appropriate for the minor.
Can I take my project home?
In most workshops, you will be able to complete and take the project home. However, some projects require curing or drying time and may need to stay at the store until ready. Please check your workshop description for details.
What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my workshop?
We can provide store credit or reschedule your workshop as long as you let us know at least 48 hours prior to the workshop. Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.
What should I do if I'm running late for my workshop?
We understand that traffic and emergencies happen and hope that you can make it to your workshop on time. If you arrive late, we will do our best to catch you up on the content and steps covered for the workshop, but your host is not able to stay beyond the scheduled end time for the workshop. If you cannot make it to your workshop, you can transfer your ticket to another person and they can attend in your place. Unfortunately we do not offer store credit or reschedules for no shows. Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.
I couldn't make it to the workshop yesterday, can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds or store credit for no-shows. Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.
Can I bring my dog?
We regularly have doggy visitors and well-behaved and quiet pups that get along with other humans and dogs are welcome! However, we are not responsible if your dog ingests something they shouldn't.
