Learn to Crochet Series (Cambridge, Mondays 5:30-7:30pm)

Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet?  Join our Learn to Crochet Series for step-by-step guidance and make projects ranging from scarf to Amigurumi. 

Sessions meet weekly.  Each month will focus on a project to help you learn fundamental techniques, incorporate prior knowledge and develop confidence.  There is no end to crocheting and it all starts with a hook.  Come find your groove and crochet with us!

Example projects include market mesh bag, granny squares, cardigans and more!

Materials:  1 Crochet hook is included, but yarn is not.  Feel free to bring your own yarn and matching gauge hooks (we recommend chunky yarn and 8-10mm hooks for beginners)

Min. Age:  13yrs old.  Minors must have an adult to sign the liability waiver upon joining and an adult should be reachable via cell phone or present in the same building during the workshop.

Cancellation:  You can cancel any time and manage the subscription directly from the link included in your confirmation email.

Missed Sessions:  In case you cannot make it to a session in the series, you can join the same session running at a different location or simply go to the next session and your instructor will catch you up.

Parking: Street parking or garage. Unfortunately, we don't validate parking vouchers.

How do I book for a workshop?

The best way to book for a workshop is through our website.  We close sign up 48 hours prior to the workshop, or when it sells out, whichever comes first, so be sure to book ahead!

Can I bring my child to a workshop?

Yes, please make sure that your child is at least as old as the minimum age requirement  for the workshop and that they are accompanied by an adult.  Each adult can bring up to two minors to a workshop.  Each child should have their own ticket and no more than 1 adult caretaker.   Additional adults in your party should have their own ticket.

The workshop sign up is closed on-line, can I still sign up?

Please call the store to see if there is enough seating or materials available.  Last minute accommodations are up to the discretion of the store staff and host.  We recommend booking your tickets at least 48 hour in advance.  

Can I bring a guest to the workshop and they'll just sit with me and watch?
All workshop attendees need to have their own ticket.  However, an adult caretaker can accompany a minor younger than 18 years old free of charge (one adult per minor please).  Check your workshop details for minimum age requirements to ensure that the workshop is appropriate for the minor.  

Can I take my project home?

In most workshops, you will be able to complete and take the project home.  However, some projects require curing or drying time and may need to stay at the store until ready.  Please check your workshop description for details.

What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my workshop?

We can provide store credit or reschedule your workshop as long as you let us know at least 48 hours prior to the workshop.  Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.

What should I do if I'm running late for my workshop?

We understand that traffic and emergencies happen and hope that you can make it to your workshop on time.  If you arrive late, we will do our best to catch you up on the content and steps covered for the workshop, but your host is not able to stay beyond the scheduled end time for the workshop.  If you cannot make it to your workshop, you can transfer your ticket to another person and they can attend in your place.  Unfortunately we do not offer store credit or reschedules for no shows.  Please see our Refund Policy here for more details.

Can I bring my dog?

We regularly have doggy visitors and well-behaved and quiet pups that get along with other humans and dogs are welcome!  However, we are not responsible if your dog ingests something they shouldn't.
